Government Complex, Monticello

Home | Downtown Success | Public Buildings | Monticello

One of the most impressive rehabilitation projects by any small town anywhere is that of the Benton Block in downtown Monticello. Years of delayed maintenance had led to collapsed roofs and extensive deterioration of building systems. The City of Monticello rehabilitated the entire complex and made it into an excellent example of adaptive use.
