Theatres

The downtown movie house hit hard times when the multiplexes opened. Although many were demolished, quite a few survived to become proud landmarks once again. Some examples:

		The Rose Theatre in Forsyth has gone from roofless shell to community gathering place.
		Dalton's Wink Theatre is now an 1100-seat performance hall.
		The marquee on Milledgeville's Campus Theatre is getting a much-needed facelift.
